### Not too big to fail?

China Evergrande Group is a real estate developer in China that has been in the headlines for the last few weeks, and [here is the best explainer](https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2021-09-21/evergrande-borrowed-from-everyone?sref=E9Urfma4) I could find to break it down, from Matt Levine at Bloomberg.

Will China allow it to fail, or will they jump in at the last minute to save them?

A [swarm of bees](https://www.insider.com/bees-killed-63-endangered-african-penguins-cape-town-beach-2021-9) is suspected of killing 63 penguins, which honestly is the thing that might get me to reconsidering "saving the bees" 🐝

This lead to a response from the [creator of Babel](https://twitter.com/sebmck/status/1392019586833387522) alleging the funds had been misallocated and the whole javascript community gave Henry a performance review on twitter 🙃. All this does is solidify that I don't think I'd ever contribute code to an open source project the size of Babel.
